I know. It's been a while since I have posted. I've just been taking as much advantage as I can of summer. It's so nice not to have homework, or be forced to wake up early (though that will change on monday), or have to sit in a classroom for 7 hours (though that also will change on monday).
"What's on monday?", you may ask? Well I am so lucky that I get to start summer school. I mean, I admit, it's better than sitting home all day longing to go out and do something with my time, because that's how I felt last summer after about a month of doing nada. So it isn't that much of a bad thing.
Another plus? I'm taking the easiest classes you could ever imagine. Sports medicine (i.e.: watching the show House and walking around with the school's official sports trainer). And health? Well I have a teacher that I had first semester and his class was super easy. So not a lot to worry about. Also, two of my closest friends I know for a fact are actually going to be in my health class, as well as some other friends that will be on campus for various other reasons.
And I'm secretly excited about driving my self and being the second oldest in the school. I will finally be dubbed an "upperclassman." Sweetness.
Before I sign off (considering it's 1: 30 am and I am still awake) here are a few things I did this week, as well as what's happening this weekend:
-
Cleaned out my room (anyone who has seen it must know how desperately it needed a good cleaning)
-
Cleaned out my bathroom (see above)
-
Saw Up (so adorable I'm asking mama B to get me a stuffed little old man like the one in the movie)
-
Finished my first article for the local teen newspaper I have recently joined (a book review on The Chosen One......be sure to check it out, an awesome read!)
-
Went to lunch with a friend that I used to volunteer with (though she was paid). Grandma came along.
-
Had the precious car taken from me two times in a week (I have decided our family's cars have a vendetta against me since they all want to break......leaving me carless)
-
Read two books in less than 24 hours, after driving to the library by myself.
-
Watched three movies with one of my closest school friends: Charlie Bartlett, Hard Candy, and Ten Things I Hate About You (soon to be an ABC Family show) In between we made some kick-butt personalized sugar cookies.
-
Updated my collection of magazine clippings, and put them into their according binders.
-
And for the weekend sadly I must dye part of my hair back to its natural state in order to look suitable for summer school (bleh). Then hopefully I will get to spend some time with my friends tomorrow night by actually going out (something I rarely do, since I am so lazy)
That about raps it up, so I shall say nighty night :)
