It's been a while since I've participated in Michelle Ward's street team challenges, but with this new one (crusade #12), I just couldn't resist. We are supposed to blog about what things we are crushing on...well it may not look like much, but this little gem is AWESOME! Now I know the photo leaves a lot to be desired, so I will tell you that it is a HAI elite flat iron. Now I have to say that I don't want to do much with my hair in the morning (or ever). Don't like messing with it, don't like having to get it cut (although I am always happy after it is freshly cut). My hair is thin and fine. I wash it every morning. It may look great after it is freshly dried in the nice air conditioned house, but once I step outside into the humid south Florida air...frizz city. BUT NOT ANYMORE!!!! This baby keeps my hair sleek and smooth...all day. Even after sleeping on it...still sleek and smooth. Blair's friend brought hers to the beach and I had her use it on my hair (since Blair had been raving about it). Oh man, I WAS SOLD!!! Even Mark commented about how nice it worked. Since this week is school pictures, I declared a fashion emergency, and decided we had to have this right away!! Don't like the pricetag, but for as much as I will be using this (EVERYDAY for me, and almost everyday for Blair). I think it will be an excellent investment. Oh, and if you have really curly hair (like Blair's friend), it will make your hair super straight. Unbelievable!! So, have I sold you yet????
barbara - what a great tip for curly heads like myself. and actually, my son laments has curls and is going through a bad stage of growing his hair out so i might look into this for both of us! you make it sound like magic! thanks for joining the crush crusade...nice to have you playing with us again :)

Aren't these great. I had one for about 6 months before I ever used it. I was surprised. I have short, thick but fine hair...and this actually puffs my hair up without giving it "curling iron curls". I was amazed...didn't think it would do anything for my short hair. Glad you like yours!!! It is fun to find new and useful things. I think it would be a great ribbon iron too. LOL. Trying to justify the cost.

Hmmm...I will definitely need to look into this! I used to have really long straight hair, then cut it to shoulder length and discovered that it now wants to curl! Then I had several months of chemo and lost most of it and really have the hairdo from hell going on right now. But I'm giving it 2 more weeks, and I will have enough new growth to get it cut again, and I'm loving the new sleek razor-cut styles and I think this gizmerator could take me there! Thanks for sharing!

LOL, Molly has a crush on her straightener too - they are a little bit magical aren't they?

I actually ordered a new iron from my hairdresser on Tuesday! A heck of a lot of money but as everyone has said, it works wonder! Now I can use the old one in the studio... great for "ironing" ribbon or braid in a hurry without the necessity of getting our the ironing board! lol
I had really short hair for what seems a lifetime.... it was fine, but a lot of it and dead straight... well last year I decided to grow it ... now it has body! Go figure!
