Sharing a new card today where I stamped on watercolor paper and used distress markers to add color to the stamped image. Love the soft muted colors and look forward to playing with them some more in future projects.

Finally happy that the rain is slowing down. It has been raining since the wee hours of the morning without stopping, and the lake in our backyard keeps creeping more and more into the grass. It is probably about 9-12 feet into the yard now. Craziness!

A Card...

Just sharing a card I made recently using Copics to add color on the focal image. Also got a chance to try out my postage stamp die.
We had quite a lot of rain over the weekend, but I managed to stay indoors most if the time. However we did get a chance to do a dog walk and a bike ride around the neighborhood on Sunday. Hope the weather will be better today and the lake behind our house will start to recede since it is up really high (at least 6 ft into the yard).

Made a birthday card for a very special guy. Used lots of Tim Holtz products...stamps, dies, rub ons, distress inks and markers. Even made a custom ink pad to use with the popcorn stamp.

Just wanted to share this card I created recently.
Also wanted to share with you a company called Origrami that is now printing Instagram photos. The quality is wonderful and the images are printed on a Polaroid sized paper with space on the bottom for writing some details. Another great feature is that a map is printed on the back of where the photo was taken. The photos even come in a cute little cardboard box. Even though they come all the way from Australia, the price is pretty reasonable ($20 for 36 photos and no extra shipping) and came pretty quickly (ordered on 6/8, shipped on 6/13, arrived today 6/24).

Got a chance to finish a second project using the little fairy I created the other day. This project is also using the Tim Holtz Sizzix cabinet card dies, small easel die, distress paints, and other various goodies. One interesting thing I learned is that red wonder tape does not stick well to grunge board, so the easel was attached to the back of the cabinet card using E6000 glue. Next time I will try cardboard rather than grunge board for the easel. I think it will fold and attach much better.
